The next regular board meeting is scheduled for the first Tuesday of the month. The public is invited! We meet at the Public Works Building, 1700 Memorial Avenue, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. During July and August the Board of Directors does not schedule monthly meetings.

The governing body of Citizens for a Clean Lynchburg, Inc. is comprised of a ten person Board of Directors of area representatives from business, municipal, civic groups and citizens at large.
Citizens for a Clean Lynchburg, Inc. (CCL) concerns itself with solid waste management issues with the purpose of educating the community and instilling in the citizens a sense of individual responsibility and pride which we hope will result in a cleaner, safer and more beautiful Lynchburg. CCL is a non-profit, nonpartisan and educational organization as described by Section 501 © (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954.
By planning, implementing, directing and coordinating a litter control program, we wish to generate and promote public interest in improving Lynchburg's environment. By instilling a sense of pride in every citizen towards the awareness of his/her surroundings and educating all citizens about efficient solid waste management, Citizens for a Clean Lynchburg serves as a partner in helping the community reduce the amount of littering and increase the rate of recycling.
